The confirmed release date

The Phantom Blade Zero release date is October 29, 2026. S-GAME gives that date for the PlayStation 5 and PC launch, and the PlayStation Blog repeats it in the official pre-order announcement. PC players will be able to buy the game through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Steam may display October 28, 2026 for some visitors. That storefront date can reflect a regional unlock time, while the official announcement uses October 29. Players should treat October 29 as the published launch date and check their local store for the exact unlock hour.

Why older pages show September 9

S-GAME previously planned to launch Phantom Blade Zero on September 9, 2026. The studio announced a delay on June 2 and moved the release to October 29. Any listing that still gives September 9 is using superseded information.

The delay announcement said the additional time would be used for final optimization and polish. It also confirmed that pre-orders would open before launch and that a dedicated gameplay and story presentation would follow. The date change applies to the announced PS5 and PC versions.

Platforms available at launch

The confirmed launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The official site links to PlayStation, Steam, and Epic Games Store pages. No Xbox or Nintendo Switch 2 release is currently listed by S-GAME.

Promotional fine print says the game will not be available on other consoles until at least twelve months after release. That wording sets a minimum exclusivity period, but it does not announce an Xbox or Switch 2 port. Dates for those platforms remain To be confirmed.

What the PC listing confirms

Steam identifies S-GAME Studio as the developer and S-GAME Publishing as the publisher. The listing describes a single-player action RPG powered by Unreal Engine 5. It also confirms Steam achievements, Family Sharing, third-party Denuvo DRM, and an SSD requirement.

The listed minimum target is 1080p at 30 frames per second with upscaling. The recommended target is 1440p at 60 frames per second with upscaling. These are official storefront targets, though final performance on an individual PC will depend on its full configuration.

Pre-order and edition status

Pre-orders are live according to the August 11 PlayStation announcement and the Steam store page. The US Steam listing shows a standard edition at $59.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99. Prices in other regions may differ because the collected material only confirms the US dollar listing.

Pre-ordering unlocks the Treasure Basin accessory and Legacy Outfit early. The official announcement says both items can also be obtained through normal in-game progression. They are early access rewards rather than exclusive gameplay content.

What to check before launch

PS5 players can use the PlayStation Store page, while PC players can use Steam or Epic Games Store. Store pages are also the best place to confirm the exact unlock time, local price, and edition availability. Do not rely on an older trailer thumbnail or search snippet that still carries the September date.

The release date is settled, but platform expansion beyond PS5 and PC is not. The clearest current answer is October 29, 2026 for the officially announced versions. Any later Xbox or Switch 2 plan remains To be confirmed until S-GAME names the platform and date.
